Slow Muskie Fishing

Anyone having any good muskie action? I just spent 2 weeks fishing on and off and had trouble even getting a follow. I caught 1 real nice one but I had to resort to speed trolling which is a pretty big departure for a guy as old and set in his ways as me!

Capt- I haven't fished much muskie the last couple weeks. I tried throwing some bucktails for a couple hours last Sunday morning, but didn't see anything. I wish I could give you more to go on. It would be nice to have more muskie talk on here...

I'm going to try it again this weekend and I'll post. Like I said, the only action I had was speed trolling a shallow raider.

I saw 2 while bass fishing today. Both in the same area. One was on the reefs by Isles of Pine and one hanging on a dock post on the souteast side of the island. Both were 40"+. Not much help but thought I would share.

Good Fishing!

Whenever a bird pooh's on my car I eat a plate of scrambled eggs on my front porch just to let them know what I'm capable of.

Always appreciate any info. I had good luck yearly in the season, but haven't fished for them much lately. We have family coming to the cabin the next couple weekends and they aren't muskie fisherman, so I'm not sure how much I will get in the next couple weekends either. If I get time to put in some serious muskie fishing I'll post.

Went out tonight for about 2 hours. Had one on a buck tail and had another on blow up on a top water, but I didn't let him have it. Pretty good action for only a couple hours on the water.

I fished a few hours on Saturday and had pretty good action. 3 really active fish with multiple follows and one hit on a surface plug. I didn't hook up but it's nice to see active fish. Lots of guys out on Saturday!
