Yeah it's true...all my bigger fish are not caught on big bait. Usually it's the opposite...small fish on big bait.

now those bullheads that have been stealing my sucker minnows all year long can finally go right into the bait bucket. im gonna stick with 10"

dude  You can start using 0-10 inchers on August 9 (unless you are north of Hwy 210, but there aren't any flats up there anyway)

now that moore's bait is no longer, does anyone know of a good "non-infested" lake or creek to catch bullheads in prior lake or jordan area?

Can you use bullheads caught from the MN river? Found a creek flowing into the river with lots of bullheads. We caught one after another off a jig and crawler. I ended up using those for bait that night rather than the suckers I bought. If I would have had some sort of contraption set up to bring them home I would have. They were all nice lively guys and the perfect size. Yes.
