I am in my 50's hunted all my life with right handed guns. Now I am looking at getting a new shot gun, Benilli has one in Left handed and I was thinking of getting it. I shoot left handed with all guns and never have had a problem, just was thinking a bit different. I know every thing is on the wrong side, but I was just wondering if any one else has done this after so many years?

I am left handed and have used a number of right handed guns over the years, like an 870, also a browning BPS (ejects down). Last summer I bought a left handed Benelli M2, and really like it. I kind of agonized between the M2 and super black eagle II which also comes in a left hand model, as well as the montefeltro, but I really have no need for a 3.5" chamber and the M2 just seemed to feel better in my hands. The M2 and SBEII have synthetic stocks that come with shims to adjust drop and cast, but if the Montefeltro fits you that would be a non issue, if you like the wood stock better. Anyway, I am very happy with my choice. Hope this helps. CH

The hardest thing you will have to get used to is the safty. You will find it backwards as well. Take it to a gunsmith to have it switched so it is the same as RH

Just remember. What doesn't kill ya only makes you stronger.

You'll be just fine. Just practice alot. I'm a lefty too and have had the Benelli. It's a nice gun if it fits you. I now shoot a right handed Beretta 391 with the safety on the left side.

They're all broke 'til they break.

Don't bother switch the safety on a left handed gun just becuase you've shot right handed guns in the past. It will take literally no time at all to make the switch and you'll never go back.
