one of the best times i ever had fishing was when my son was two months old and he, i, and grampa were sitting on the dock for the first time together catching 3 inch sunnies, 4 inch perch, and the occassional whopper 5 inch largemouth! until that day, grampa had never fished for anything other than walleyes, he SERIOUSLY did not even know how to put a bobber on. it was great to see him for the first time realize that fishing is not neccessarily about what and how big!

Thanks Jim. The previous weekend we found all of them just outside the weeds. This last weekend we found both outside and on the weed bed between 7-12 ft.

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT BULLETIN FOR ALL MINNESOTA FISH! Jake is out of school and on the prowl. Jake should be considered armed (with a fishing pole) and dangerous (to all things that swim).

I have caught sunnies fishing for bass on a 6 inch plastic worm, but never in a spinnerbait. Pretty awesome.
