Is this not the FATTEST 14 inch fish you guys have ever seen? I bet this little guy EASILY topped 2lbs. Wonder what it was feeding on.

That looks crazy...my guess would be a duck or the dock owner's chihuaua.
Did you see anything in its gullet or feel the stomach?

Here's a 19 incher from Mille Lacs this past weekend. Didn't have a scale, but I bet she was close to 5 lbs. Those Mille Lacs footballs must weigh a 1/2 pound more on average than a fish of the same length from another lake.

More Big Pond Bass
Nils hooked the Smallie and right after that I hooked the Largemouth, Juan had a heck of a time deciding which fish to net first.
Both were thick and gorging on crawdads, they easily were 4 to 4.5 pounds.

Juan Grande with a Football, the same fish as the one on the tape in the post above.

Another Pic of the Football

A 4 pounder that Juan caught off a car sized boulder in 6 foot of water, the top of the boulder was about a foot under the surface. He pulled two 4 pound footballs off that rock on consecutive casts.
