Shop around on that one, with a little bit of a drive you can get better deal than Gander can offer.

I have a 700 mountain rifle in 7MM-08.it is a joy to shoot and I realy like the detachable magazine . I would try the big R store in walker.very good to deal with

i second this gun there great i have two a 25-06 and 7mm-08 you can carry them all day and not feel it at the end of the day.The big R is the way to go.

Personally, I looked at the Rems in 7mm-08 but opted for the Weatherby Vanguard (Howa) in the carbine model with a 20 inch barrel. I had a Timney trigger put on it and had it bedded and floated the barrel then put a Nikon Buckmaster 3 X 9 mounted with Leupold rings and one piece mount. Shooting son of a gun. I'm not a Rem fan. I'm working up loads for 120, 130 and 140 grain bullets right now. Too many bad reports on Rem products is what made me go to the WX.
