The Ace Hardware in Inver Grove Heights sells bait, and I've allways had a lot of good luck there. They sell a good variety of bait from suckers and shiners to fatheads, leeches and crawlers. They are also very reasonably priced compared to places like Gander Mountain/Joes or other "big chain" places. I believe they are open till 9 on a weekday too.

It is off of Cahill Ave behind the reminants of the Village Square shopping center just south of 70th street.

+1 for that Ace in IGH. It can be hit or miss for BIG suckers though, are you talking northern big or cutbait big?

There is also a bait shop down hwy 61 not to far from the 494 boat launch. It's called Backwoods Archery, but they sell bait and I have picked up big suckers there before.

It's south of 65th not 70th Street.

Err, I meant North of 70th street not South smile Yes thats right. Easiest way to get to it is from 70th street exit off of 52, head east then take Cahill NORTH for like 2 blocks not south. My mistake (I should know this, I go all the time. n.n)

Wal mart in Eagan has crawlers, and actually you can't beat walmart for crawlers, price and quality.

The hardware store across the street from that has some bait also but it's not good quality.

Other than that there's nothing in Eagan.

Actually the Holiday station close to the Walmart has some bait (off of Pilot Knob rd near Fish Lake) It is VERY random what they have though. One day they may have waxies, the other small bags of crappie minnows, and at times leeches. I still recommend the Ace in IGH for consistancy and variety. And yes, to my knowledge there isn't anywhere in Eagan that has suckers XD
