" Jimmy Rig " makes a good quick strike set up.

crappie rig with 4lb test is the best "Northern Rig" I've found. Last weekend we brought a 42" 22lb Northern through a 8" hole on 6lb line and a small swedish pimple. 1/2 hour battle and a smoked drag but the experience is priceless.. Thanks to Kelly for sending us to the end of the road. No Crappies but one huge Northern

Joshua 24:15c "But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
I do a lot of tip up fishing in ND every spring for big northerns. I find the less metal down there the better. I prefer a plain circle hook. much better hookup %.
