Ok this post is for report successes or the lesser of so please no wolf b.s. reports or sightings.

Been out the past week with little or no success but saw more deer around the opener then I'm seeing now. The bachelour groups seem to be intact from what my cameras are showing what have you guys been seeing?

in the brainerd area on small tracks of land that are pretty sensitive to pressure but it's mainly public land but can get unexpected "hikers" wondering through my area....unfortunetly.

I haven't been out half as much as I normally do but I'm hoping to hit the woods a little this weekend. Lots of deer on the game cams and 1 nice buck I hope to catch up with late October. I use to bowhunt Pillsbury a few years back, actually saw a lot of deer early in the season but like you said, lots of people around.

I'll be out this weekend, I've never had much luck later in the season but it sure beats staying home.

go get em. I've still been seeing lots of deer in the area, you should just strive to find areas that haven't been heavily pressured lately (easier said than done, I know).

One thing is after firearms is winding down, it is worth knocking on some doors for late season archery.

I believe they think we are insane and have allowed us to hunt out of pity sometimes...

Goog idea S 16 Guy, being crazy has its benefits.

Pretty slow weekend in the tree for me, didn't see a thing. Game cams are showing deer around but zero daytime activitiy. A couple of new bucks crusing around so at least I have photos of deer to look at.

I hear you on the lack of buck activity. I haven't seen one even in the headlights on the way home from hunting since opener. They are definately pretty nocturnal and/or locked down w/ does.

I'm holding hope for Thanksgiving day on out to be better though w/ the promise of cold weather and the majority of does getting bred. That'll get those horndogs moving...
