Just curious if there is a resort or two near Indian Point that I can pull my shack out of.. I might fish that area?? The reason I ask is if there is roads plowed to the deeper water in this area..

Ok, many lookers but no answers..Hopefully that is not the style of the bite this season..I'll just call a few resorts that I see on the map.. See what the service fees are etc.. The map I have does not show too many resorts.. That is why I asked for imfo..

there is not. your best going out of terrys or something like that or the public access if you dare! although i tried to cross and ice heave a few years ago on a 4wheeler while others were driving out and almost dropped my 4wheeler and trailer i was pulling in the drink! lets just say im more of the paying for plowed staked out roads!

That area always seems to buckle/crack expand/contract it is a good idea to check with locals/diehards before going out on unknown areas especially Mille Lacs!c63

There is a private land owner that plows a road out to Indian point. I have been using there road for the past several years and it is maintained as good as the resort roads. I believe the cost was $10 last year and they may sell a season pass. They also maintain a bridge to get over the pressure ridge that forms every year. At mile post 222 (just past Eddies on 169) turn right and then take a left at the lake and it is right there. Good luck.

north star resort on the south end of wigwam bay usually plows a road out to shermans flat.
