How To Carry Fish Trap Pro on an Atv???

I just bought a Fish Trap Pro 1-man shanty and was wondering what fellow owners use to carry them on their atv. Is there a rack I can buy or is this something that needs to be made?

Thanks,
Bones

Why not just pull it behind?

I think most people use a hitch and pull it out

I didn't know if it would be too light and bounce around. I pull my Clam X2 behind the atv, but it is considerably heavier.

Hauling the shack is alot easier on it. THe other nice thing is after the quad is loaded on the trailer,so is the shack.which of course is nice when you get to the lake bright and early in the AM.

The easiest way to do it is pick up a replacement sled and mount it on the back.I recomend 2x4's instead of aluminum. The wood allows some flex and isnt as hard on the atv rack if you stick it out there like I did.

check this out aluminum angle makes this work. Beats tow bars and bumpy ice / snow beating the snot out of your stuff...

I made mine out of 2 by 4's in about 20 min last year. I mount it to the rack with metal strapping so I can take it on and off easily.
The one problem with wood is weight I am planning on making one out of aluminum angle like crappiekid.

If you sent my an email I can easily send you some pics of mine.

2 2x4's is more than enough if you have a sled to mount to it. I broke my rear sub frame using aluminum. It was to stiff and tranfered the "bounce"directly to the frame instead of flexing and absorbing it. Of course it could have been from it hitting the ground while wheelying.LOL

Stumper your Kawasaki is the ice rig that prompted my to build mine last year. I like the idea of the plano box on the back also.

Your rigs look nice with the additions. I use my tow hitch and it works well. I have seen the wheelers with the brackets on the back and they also seem to work well. Only problem for me is my back is not that good and that extra lifting would be tough.

i like putting my ice house on the trailer that i pulled my wheeler to the lake with so it saves the bottom of the sled and it seems to not beat the gear as bad as just dragging it
