I have a 10 year old jiffy auger that has a bad on off switch. I don't see how to replace it without removing the whole top. Anybody have any experience with this?

Easy repair. Remove the four screws that hold the cover on. Lift up the cover, remove the wire from the switch. Remove the old switch, install new switch, and reverse the work done to remove the cover.
