I would loved to live there I could not afford to live there.

Most people I know who are retired that live there full time go south in the winter for at least awhile. That is what our plans are. Please tell us how it goes this year. Where did you move from and how long have you been around Ottertail?

We have actually had our place on Ottertail for the past 11 years but we just sold our home in the Twin Cities suburb of Champlin. We had a place on Walker Lake before that but I got tired of the low water level on Ottertail's side during late summer. I plan on putting my fish house out again and hopefully be able to leave it out longer than last year. Because we didn't live here then, I only had the house out for a week or so. Then as everyone know there was simply too much snow and slush to leave it when I wouldn't be able to check on it frequently. I know some people must live around here, let's try and get together for coffee.

Bakery reopens Nov. 24th. I'll be there 4 carmel rolls 4 the office @ about 7:30.

I have not been to Betty's for a while. Might have to shoot up there some weekend for breakfast.

They had a German-style Octoberfest lunch menu about a month ago that was fantastic! Keep an eye out for it next fall. It's worth the drive from anywhere.
