 caught this afternoon on a crawfish pattern. The big fish should start popping soon on crustacean patterns once the water temps begin to drop. Can't wait for late fall roughfishing.

good god, YOUR KILLING ME!!!!!!
i spent 8 hours carping today.......didn't even get a bite i was only fishing 2 hours and i saw so many fish. but i passed up anything under 5lbs. the first fish of the day (the big one) was caught jigging in a caulvert where they usually surface feed (first 2 pictures in the post above) it didnt seem very big at all until i got it close. then it took off

First smallmouth Buffalo I have ever caught at least I think that is what it is. Caught it on a Rapala DT-6 did not think they would hit those but it was hooked in the mouth and not snagged. Sorry for the bad picture I was fishing alone.

ok, so i just figured out how to get pics from my phone onto my computer this fish is from july not only was this my first river redhorse, but my first redhose ever!  i love how bright that tail is!
