Anyone go around the Jordan area? Looking for some more people to get out and chase some roosters with.

Id be game. Im in Burnsville. I frequently hit the Belle Plain area WMAs.

Do you hunt WMAs or private land?

Sometimes I go during the week as I am laid off for a couple months. If I go during the week I hunt WMA's I do have a couple private spots. But I do not hunt them until it has froze solid

During the week Id have to in the evening, unless we were to get rained out at work.

Are there any birds in Scott County???? I was out all day and did not see a thing. Lets get a group together to hunt!

They are there... tooo many crops!!!!! and Too much public land hat gets pounded!

unfortunately I only have public hand to hunt on. The farmers were out in full force yesterday. I am heading back out again this morning. Maybe it will be more productive today (I just want to see a bird in the county!!!!).

Head out towards the end of the evening. Specially if the farmers are taking out crops.

Did just that today! Hit Mahoney, Marsh, Michel, and PF#3! No luck at all! Not even a hen! I have bad luck I guess!!!

Anyone want to go out Wednesday? I have the day off work (Vets day!!!) and the wife has given me permission to hunt!

If weather stops me from working i will join you. I have a lab but no truck to haul him in. Do not like using my car to haul a wet dog

I think it is supposed to be nice. I have a lab as well.....and a truck that smells like a wet dog right now! (well...it does not really smell THAT bad!!) LOL

I had an hour or 2 to kill this morning so I loaded up my little Brittany and headed out to one of the small area WMAs. We actually flushed 1 rooster which I consider a moral victory on these pounded WMAs with just 1 guy and 1 dog.
