Anyone know if there will be any deals at this years ice fishing show. I have gone the past 3 years and have never found a deal on anything. It is usually retail price at best in there.

Anybody know of any deals, or any ways to get a deal on anything? I love going, but buying is hard to do there.

There are always deals down there but if you dont assert yourself and do some comparison shopping you wont get them. Shop the retailers against eachother. They are there to sell and they dont want to have to load it all back up and bring back home.
It may only get ya a free cover for your house or case for your graph but you will save some $ by doing so.

plus it is nice to have all your differeny brands and such in one place

Last year, I got an Ice Armor suit for $169.99, retails for $250. They even let me take an XL bib & a L Jacket.

There normally are not very many marked deals, but by asking you can normally get a pretty good price. On most items they are willing to bargain with you or throw in a freebie item.

The last day can offer some better deals also.

Bruce I will surely stop and buy some of them discs from you. I saw them in the Ice Fishing Mag and thought what a great idea they are. It will surely make some ordinary jigs do unordinary things. Great idea! I hope it does as well as the Ice Buster Bobber that I see others are knocking off now.
Save me a bunch of them as well. Can never have enough Ice Busters in the tackle box!

Just googled the "jig disks", what a great innovative idea. Plastics is one of my favorite presentations, with the addition of the disks it will be another great tool to tigger that tough bite.

Great job on the new innovation Bruce. If I can get to the show, I'll be picking up some for sure. Thanks for making the price reasonable, and I like the variety pack option.

Does anybody have deals on Arctic Armor suits at the show?...I am thinking this might be the major addition to my gear this year...

AA doesn't offer any deals at the show --- the best you will find at the show is free gloves.

I just picked up a new AA Camo jacket for $169 most places have it listed for $204. Even with having to pay for shipping it was still cheaper ($181) than most everywhere else i saw. Got it from the guy you see in the FF ads.

At last years show, there were a couple of people that sold AA, willing to cut prices to get a deal. They just said "don't tell any of the other vendors that I'm making a price cut" They're not supposed to, but they will.

I ended up going with Ice Armor instead, because I got such a good deal on it.

I am going this year to check everything out, but mainly to try on some AA and check out the different types. If they'll meet HSO's price, I'll buy. Otherwise, HSO sponsors; here I come!

shows like that they will not advertise their lowest prices...you need to ask which for many people they don't or won't do...but that's how you get your deals and work one retailer against the other to beat or match prices...I can't wait to get a new Ice Fishing Bikini Babe Calender!

does anybody know if i would be able to get a good deal on an otter ice house just frame and poles or am i just wasting my time

Otter will have reps there, typically right as you go down the escalator, but I dont know exactly what they will be able to do for you. I went in with the hope of seeing and buying a monster box, but they didnt bring any to the show.

my son got a great deal on Arctic armour FREE he won his whole suit last year

IMO you'll get the best deal on an Otter house at Thorne Bros one day sale this Friday. Thats when and where I have bought all of my Otters and have never found a better price.
