You tempted me...if I could have went...I would have grabbed my stick and my tackle box and off I would have went.

POOF..GONE!

Chowder AND visiting with Lou (you just can't teach an old monkey, new faces!)

That's why God made memories! cuz that may have to hold me over for another 50 weeks.

at least if these guys quit talkin about ice fishin, they're getting me curious.

Ice fishing is incredible! First time I went out last year spent five minutes in Andrea's shack and had one. Can not wait to take Lou out, he is great fun. You have to come try this, hot chowder in the portable, yummy.

I was setting up goose decoys this morning, thinking it is warmer in portable than it was walking in that field in rain, sleet and snow. Can not wait for ice.

Nice fish Mama! Just a little to early for that ice house. all i know is this......

1. Canadian women know how to have a good time;)
2. Red river is SLOW
3. Trick or treat!?

Only impressed with one thing.... and it is not the fish. But it is fishy!

Walleye picture was first fish last year. Sorry should have said, "while I was goose hunting this morning I was thinking about the fact it was warmer in the portable last year than it was this morning." Darn nasty this morning. I am sure the geese had to be deiced before take off. Cat was a monster that Stu put me on. He never stops amazing me. He showed me a deadly spot that afternoon! Here is a hint her gurth was not fare off from mine. And one third of my body weight, (she was around 38 lbs) it was 39 1/2 inches long.

Mike, not to worry. You, along with all our guests, will be given "all" the pertinent info you'll need to make your trip a success. Kinda like the info one can acquire from the local B & B's and "no-tell" motels... wink wink

Here's a chunky greenback from yesterday's excursion. It was the 1st ever trophy walleye for the young lady and although she was a tad nervous holding the fish, man was she excited! If you look close, you'll see the pink "Reelbait" Flasher jig hanging from the Hawgs mouth! Make sure that you have a good selection, they're deadly thru the ice!
Very nice...OH...and that Greenback looks preaty too Eh. smile
Look at the jig placement on this greenback. not to often you see a hook hanging on his bottom lip like that.... hmmmmmmm. good color thought. Congrats! That is a hog!

I am very proud of my "daughter" and the fish she caught. Thank you for the compliment on my daughter, for years I have been giving seminars across the U.S for women. Focusing on the outdoors, equipment and reactions of them being there. Then telling them that, "Women do not need to look like "Bush Babes" but rather can look like ladies and still enjoy what mother nature has to offer. If you look closer you will see the line had broke and the hook was placed back to show what it was caught on.

Thank you Eddy, had a thought last night, not that I am compulsive about fishing at all! Would love to start a ice fishing club for girls called, "The Canadian Jigglers" lol. They do not have to be from Canada just have to want to spend a weekend slamming big walleye's. Bet we have a ton of offers for guides!
