is there any way to remove the glare from a vent rib on a 870?? ive mounted guns where the rib is like a file and i really like that.. but dont wanna fork out the $$ to have it done on a 870.. any ideas? i would rather focus on the bird other than trying to see the bead..

I had a tough time with the high vis sights. Seemed like I was aiming more instead of pointing and following through with my shots. Im sure they work for others and may be worth a try but I had little luck with them. Try getting your head down on the gun more so all you can do is point it (not see the length of the top of the barrel). Focus on the bill of the duck as you shoot and not on the end of your gun. Just my $0.02. It may or may not work for ya.
Flat black paint. You shouldn't be worrying about what your rib or bead looks like. Your gun mount is your line. If it ain't work on that not your bead or rib. A shotgun is pointed not aimed. It should be more like swinging a bat at a ball than shooting a rifle.

i baught one of those hi viz magnetic sights but it didnt sit low enough to the rib so i epoxied the lite pipe to the rib and it seems like the ducks just fold them selfs up and slugs seem to shoot straighter!
