Jim, thanks for sharing a great day. No moose or wolves, but heck, a guy can't have a macrofauna paradise EVERY day.
All with the Canon 1D Mk2, Canon 100-400L IS from 250 to 400mm, iso from 200 to 1600, shutter speeds from 1/30 to 1/400, apertures from f5.6 to f9, monopod and handheld, some fill flash.

Nice work Jim and Steve! Looks like it was a great day to take a drive. Its amazing what you find every time you go out for a drive even if you take the same route as a previous day.

Very nice shots.I always thought they called it gods country up north because of awesome walleye fishing.Its also for all the great photo opportunities.
