With High Temps of near 60 degrees this weekend should a guy expect a good or bad slug opener and why?

Here's to having stinky fingers!

Slower overall action if you are hunting on stand like I will be. The rut will be kicking in to high gear in southern Minnesota this weekend, but warmer temps (highs around sixty and lows around forty in Fillmore County where I'll be) mean the deer will be moving around more at night, so we'll see less activity during shooting hours.

On the plus side, warm dry conditions are more comfortable for sitting all day, which is worthwhile during the rut. Plus it gives the farmers a chance to get some corn out, and that will help hunting, too.

Yes, it may mess up the first weekend but with the great weather, more crops will come out.

Stand sitting can be slow but one could make a few drives if the ones you hunt with are safe. I would get in my stand as early as possiblre and stay to the last minute. I would also use some doe in heat to increase my chances of a buck coming over to check it out a little sooner.

Drives can be very dangerous.

I'm expecting a slow opener. I believe there was more corn in at Halloween than I have ever seen in nearly 30 years of hunting.

The warmer temps will limit daytime movement and the standing corn will give a lot of great cover for the deer.
