Anybody been fishin lately? Im thinkin its probably the best time of the year to catch a trophy on the big v i seen an ole boy on the west end off of Schmidt island jigging with a frazier jig catch a 12 lb 7 oz walleye and many others 5 to 7 pounds one year the worst part was [you guessed it] they went under the knife ,but it was 12 years ago when peoples thought process was differant, but as long as you are within the regs its allright[i guess]we caught a few a couple 8s doing the jig i did a little better with a heddon sonar.

Haven't been out.. still recouperating from duck hunting! Might get out a couple days next week if the weather isn't too brutal. I think my best time for big fish is early June.. but anytime can definately be good and the late fall is a well known good time also...

Been fun though I must say even though I only got one good shoot with you and the boys. best i had in a long time. Have to do it again next year. need to break in that new gun you know...

Yea I heard you got a present! Sounds good... was hoping you where going to come that last day but sounds like you went shooting those white tailed things instead!
