I am at zero for walleye success on the St. Louis River.
Is it me or do other people report the same?
Normally, my catch rate is better this time of year.

Hmmmmm, I know a guy that fishes up there and does well but don't know exactly where and how. Maybe try the BWCA-Duluth forum.

You could also try the Apostle Island/Chequamegon forum here, those boys up nort should be able to help you.

The fish are pretty spread out right now. I personally haven't been out in a few weeks but from what i've heard the area around Spirit Island has been pretty good and some fish are being caught off the WLSSD plant on the Duluth side. Dragging crawler harnesses and float rigs with a leech seem to be the hot item.

I peeked in the BWCA forum.
I did go out around Spirit Island/lake and did do well.
I'm going to head out today if the rain stays away

Think deep. Spinners on heavy bouncers and cranks or sticks on 3 ways. Lead core if you have it.
