hey guys, new to the forums... just spent the last couple hours reading, tons of good info here!
anyways, planning a trip to the DL area for all day friday. Was wondering if anyone had any good lake suggestions for some good walleye action?
Was thinking Many Point Lake any comments/suggestions? my game plan was to bring along some minnows and a couple shad raps. Thanks guys!

The bite isn't smoking around here yet. Probably get a few on most lakes if you put in enough time. The forcast for Friday isn't looking the best either. Myself I am headed for Leech. Sounds like the bite is on big time over there. For fishing around here I would start out on the southside. Pretty easy to fish the shorline breaks and catch a few eyes plus the bonus pig northerns.....

Good luck out there Brady, I don't know either, Last weekend it seemed pretty slow around the DL area, I think I might give it a shot on Saturday, we'll see what happens.

I would stay off of Ottertail...main reason 104.1 Walleye Extravagenza.
Hook sets are free...Set away!

Dang you live in a nice area Leech. I camp down by H.O.L. quite a bit during the summer and make the run to Many Point all the time. Great lake in a great area.

Chris Quiet YOU!?!?! Shouldn't you be busy making sales calls or visits instead of being on here? I guess the joys of being the manager!

I would have to agree I am lucky on where I live!! I live about 6-7 miles from the HOL road!!Plenty of lakes and things to do for an outdoorsman around here. Maybe we'll run into each other this summer out that way, Just look for a Silver Trailblazer pulling an old red Tyee or a green starcraft!!

Probably passed you many times before. I'll be in the pewter suburban with a white fisher. Headin' back to Pierre SD for the long weekend next weekend then coming back and spending hopefully many days near the refuge in June. Probably run into you. Good luck hookin' em.

I know that most of it is a scout camp that i have been heading up to for the past 8 years, but i know there is a public launch and a resort.
I was wondering if anyone has been out there and if there is a fishing report from it. Im headed up soon and looking for a report. I dont care about your secret spots or patterns but if you wanna throw those in thats fine with me.
Thanks in advance!

I haven't heard of any recent report either. You probably could get a pretty good report from the owners of Tamarac Resort on Round Lake. They seem to get a pretty good mix of people there during the summer. I do know that Round has been ok the last couple weeks as well.
good luck!

Fishing is good on Manypoint as of now. Hope for an E/SE wind. Morning evening should be best but don't count out middle of the day either. I have done well with crawlers but plain lindy and leech should be the ticket. Many good spots on the lake. Look for underwater bars just as much as shoreline points. Depth depends on the bar but 18-24 should be key. You might have to weed through a few rock bass, but trust me, you won't be dissappointed. If it is a W/NW wind I have a tendency to bomb on this lake. Don't know why. Good Luck.

got back yesterday and had decent luck. Fished mostly a bar that went from 30+ feet up to 11 and back down. One eye with a lot of rock bass and bull sunnies. Caught a couple northern on a bobber and leech
