Next Wednesday is a full moon. Would anyone like to share there thoughts on how it will effect the walleye bite? Vermilion is known for a dawn and dusk bite. Will it last longer into the night because of the increased amount of light?

My guess is, it won't last as long, due to walleyes not liking light, but the biguns will be gorging. grin But then, what do I know? I'm more of a bass fisherman.

Vermilion usually has a very good mid-day bite!
Today was hot, calm, and clear and we were still catching walleyes at 2:00pm when we quit!

I agree with Cliff. I probably catch more fish during the day than dawn and dusk combined.

Love many, trust few, always paddle your own canoe.
