She took forever to get off off the bottom. My partner thought that she was in wood but she wasn't at all. I fought her forever right next to the boat and she just wouldn't let me see her. Finally I saw where my line went in and where the tail came out of the water made my eyes bug out. Then her her head came to the side of the boat and in she came. She then proceeded to sh*t all over the boat my shoes my shorts and then my shirt, but h*ll who care just look at her lol. Also I have never seen a cat sh*t that color before. It was a weird charcoal brownish green. Just nasty

Some very big flats indeed. I guess if I want to even get listed in the top 20 I will need to go fishing.
My river fishing has been next to nothing this season so far in the last month.

I am sure it wont be long dtro! I have been where the fish are, I just haven't been lucky/skilled enough to be the one that hooks the big one, its always been the other one in my boat. Exciting none the less! Oh well, I will have 2 new lucky people in my boat tonight, if nothing changes. So if I duct tape 2 30's together can that be a 60 ? Or what if I get a double with 2 30's ?

My boat had a double with 23 lbers earlier this year. They both bit on a circles hooks at the same time. Pretty cool seeing two rods bend in half simultaneously.

Becklund, there are still fish moving, just not as many as pre-spawn so you have to put the time in. The week of the Franklin Derby is usually when the fish turn back on from my experience. So this week and weekend I would say it is gonna be on. I probably won't be going by your hot spot downriver but maybe you can hook into that 42lbr again.
