We will be at Blackduck for the first time the second week in August. We were wondering if there are any pick-your-own berry farms in the area, and if the blueberries will be in season?

The MN Dept. of Agriculture has a web site that lists berry farms, locations, websites, phone #'s.

Yes...in fact there is a pick your own berry farm advertised in this week's local Blackduck paper(Mistic Berry Farm) If I remember correctly, it is 16 miles west of Blackduck. There are probably others in the Bemidji area as well, but I don't see any advertised in the yellow pages.

I "think" Mistic is closed for the season, just doing the strawberries. I do have some folks that come up the beginning of August to pick blueberries at Uncle TL's. Haven't seen anything on the dates yet.
